At the launch event in New Delhi, by launching HTC Desire 10 Pro, company announced that it will also launch HTC 10 Evo smartphone by the end of December. While the phone is an international variant of HTC Bolt, which already launched for Sprint in United State, bank in month and in Taiwan & UK in this week.
There is no pricing detail unveiled by the firm for India, yet. But in Taiwan the price of HTC 10 evo is set to based on storage variant – for 32GB it priced at TWD 17,990 ( Around 38,700 INR) and TWD 19,900 (around Rs. 42,809 in India)
For the design, it is similar to HTC 10, but the screen size little bigger to 5.5-inch QHD (1440 × 2560 pixels) display. It is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and features a dust proof and water-resistant aluminium body. The device is available in Gun-metal Grey, Gold and Silver colors in the former country. The phone itself supports USB Type-C enabled headphones, runs on Android 7.0 with HTC sense UI out of the box. The smartphone also include fingerprint scanner, which can unlock the handset just in 0.2 second, as per HTC.
From the core, 10 Evo is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC. It comes with 3GB of RAM and offers 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 2TB via microSD card.
The device has power packs of a 3200mAh battery, comes with the support of Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 fast charging technology.
As for the optic, it rocks 16-megapixel rear camera and include optical image stabilization, features 4K video recording & PDAF. Onward, it has 8-megapixel front shooter camera, as well as the device supports screen flashing for selfie.
Additionally HTC 10 Evo comes support for HTC BoomSound for more bass and clarity and also includes unlimited photo space with Google photo app, split screen view and inbuilt Google Duo.
